The Hydraulics Library is a powerful, yet simple to use tool for modeling hydraulic systems using mineral or synthetic oil. It is suited for a wide range of applications such as machine tools, automatic transmission, power assist, hydro-pneumatic systems, open and closed circuit drivers used in excavators or forklift trucks. The Library contains the coupling elements to connect hydraulics components to 1D mechanical blocks. The Hydraulics Library provides basic models for modeling pumps, motors and cylinders, restrictors, valves, hydraulic lines, lumped volumes and sensors.
This Library could be used for:
- 1D hydraulic rotational and transactional systems modelization.
- Simulate moving oil columns and the relative inductance, since pressure is used as a state variable in a central volume.
- Connect components in any sequence, since every main Library component has a concentrated volume, connected to each port.
Differently from other kinds of hydraulic component libraries, in Hydraulics Library each component is built following rigorous theoretical bases and their source code can be examined.
