The Thermal Systems library, developed by TLK-Thermo GmbH, provides the mean for simulating thermodynamic systems both in stationary andd transient conditions. By using this in conjunction with the TSMedia library, which includes substance property implementations, system simulation with various mediums can be performed.

The library consists of extremely versatile models that can be used for modelling individual components with greater detail as well as for designing and optimising large and complex systems.

Possibile application fields are for modelling the followings:

  • Refrigeration cycles, including refrigeration mixtures;
  • Heat pump systems;
  • Hydraulic networks;
  • Clausius-Rankine cycles;
  • Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems;
  • Absorption and adsorption systems;
  • Fuel cell systems.

The graphical user interface this library provides supports users in the composition and parameterization of very different thermal systems.
